This is one of my first critiques, so I hope to do well. Please be patient with me :thanks:. By the way, I'm not a native English speaker, so you will probably find some mistakes in here...

First of, when I first saw this work I could only think "Awesome!", and it really is! Your colouring skills are fantastic- I mistook it for a traditional drawing in watercolor or something similar. Both the shading and the highlights are very precise and make the characters look very realistic. (I don't play any videogames other than Wii Sport, so don't get mad at me if this is silly) I like how the character in the backgroung looks somehow menacing and above the other two. Zelda's pose fits what I know about her personality, being a dign and strong princess, and Link's as well. He looks definately brave and decided to do whatever's necessary. The choice of the colours and the general feeling of the piece contributes to portraing them as legendary characters, which I believe is according to their games.
On the other side, I think there are two minor mistakes, although you have to look at it pretty carefully to notice them. The first one is Zelda's neck. I think her it should be a bit more forward, not so close to her back. The pose is, though, a difficult one, and it doesn't strike too much when you look at it. Howewer, there's a bigger problem with Link's right arm, the one with the sword, I'm afraid. I'm not sure if you were trying to give it perspective, but it looks way too short, particularly from the elbow to the hand. Then again, it was a tricky pose as well. There are many tutorials on this, if you are interested. This is a good one, and the artist has many more in various subjects which are worth having a look at: [link]

All in all, it's a great piece- carry on with such good works!

I really like the paper effect of this and how it's soft on the faces.
