this is Freud's concept of human consciousness.

the one standing is Id,
the one with blindfolded is super Ego,
and the one with barefoot is Ego.

Ego is the one closest to us and in the most light
because it comes in our mind at first all the time.
Super Ego wears most formal clothes with heal,
to represent our social persona.
She is holding Ego's head because
it controls Ego to adjust into our society.
but at the same time, Super Ego is blindfolded
to impley sometimes adjusting ourself blinds us to hear
our hart.
Id is in the most shadow to represents it's always deep in the unconsciousness,
but she is the only one opening her eyes because
Id always knows what we really feel.
She holding Super Ego's head symbolizes how strong it could be
when it comes as an urge.

back ground has also meanings, that is the layer of curtain
representing the layers of human mind
and window is classic symbol of psychology.
