this piece is for self portrait assignment for my illustration class. the idea came from this old doodle;[link] and the design is based on my 2years-ago-self portrait;[link] similar concept self portrait; [link] B/w version [link] all the wings growing on my body is symbol of my imagination, and I'm trying to pull of them 'cuz they are too much almost like draining me out in the darkness of delusion. but at the same time, I am holding it to not flying away from me. Daily DeviationGiven 2007-10-30The expressive eyes and hands dominate this portrait in which rhythmic elements of shape and texture give depth and frame our vision.
