I must say that I love your style. You combine eastern and western influences greatly.

Should I tell about a japanese-origined illustrator (she was actually born in Brazil) named Yara Kono?

I like her works a lot, and what impresses me the most is how, despite having grown up far away from Japan, her style reflects such a simplicity, giving the impression she was educated in Japan.

You see, this led me to think (I don't want to make hasty generalizations, however!) that japanese people are immune to foreign influences.

Somehow I appreciate the fact that whenever I see a work by a japanese artist, I can realize immediately it was made by a japanese person.

Your work is an exception, I don't consider it so quintessentially japanese, but I love it as much as "typical" japanese artists.
